The 5th IWSC was held in Canada

Th 5th International Weed Science Congress was held during 23-27 June 2008 in Vancouver, Canada. Over 400 participants attended the congress, and over 20 Chinese participants showed up.

Professor LU Bao-rong, from School of Life Sciences, Fudan University, was invited to give a Plenary speach on "Development of Crop Production in China: A Case Study in Rice".

Professor ZHANG Chao-xian, the President of Weed Science Society of China, delivered an invitation speach to host the 6th IWSC in China, and we got the opportunity.
